What Is The Greenish Ear Wax On The Q Tip?

my ear has been bothering me i just cleaned it w a q-tip and along w the reg. yellow ear wax was a bright almost green sherbert colored wax what does that mean? im 30 in good health the only past medical problems was a surgery 15 to replace a small bone in my ear with a porcelain piece.

As per your complain there is a possibility that you have got minor infection in the ear or even excess wax accumulation can cause irritation in ear..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough otoscopic examination can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
If there is infection he can advise you antibiotics like Augmentin, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Diclofenac and put antibiotic ear drops..
In case if it is only accumulation of ear wax proper removal of ear wax can relieve..
