Hi,

Ingredient of Khushi injection is Medroxyprogesterone. It is a contraceptive and effect of one shot persists for 12-13 weeks (3 Months). In my opinion, your doctor is not correct in saying that it should be given only after a woman has one baby. Also, there is no truth in the saying that she can never be pregnant. In fact, usually the effect goes away 3-4 months after stoppage of injection. However, in some cases the effect may last for one year or so. Hence, the patients who want the pregnancy in near future, should not be given this injection.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
