What Is The Large Bruise Above Hip Area In Front Of Body?
I have a large bruise on my right side just above the hip area in the front of my body. it appeared a week ago very small there has been quite a bit of discomfort that has accompanied this. it felt like it stared inside my body and gotten bigger since there is also a lump that has formed there over the past couple days

I can understand your great concern regarding the bruise. It appears from your query that you have had this bruise suddenly. Now it is important to note that it can be because of local trauma or by systemic cause.
You gave a history scratching at that site but mild scratching can not cause massive bruise, it can only be possible if the intensity of the scratching had been too high. If you haven't scratched that much then it indicates us towards some systemic cause of the problem.
You can go for bleeding time, clotting time and platelet count. Meanwhile do not try any self medications, do not scratch or disturb the area by pinching or pressing it.
If it is not reducing in next 24 hours then should meet a doctor at the earliest.
