I can understand your situation and problem. Honestly speaking stage 4 pancreatic cancer is having very poor prognosis. No question of five year survival rate as it is very negligible.
Life expectancy in stage 4 pancreatic cancer is less than 9 months. But when whipple's procedure is failed, life expectancy will be decreased further.
So in my opinion , in your husband's case life expectancy is less than 4-5 months.
