ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, you seem to be suffering from tinnitus and the irregular heart beat associated with it points to a vascular cause. But a more common cause is nerve damage which produces the sensation of this abnormal sound which is more appreciable while trying to sleep as there is more silence outside at that time. B complex, anti depressants, ginkobiloba and betahistine are few groups of drugs which help in tackling this problem. Regards
