For the past few days I feel like something is stuck in my throat. I can t tell if it s on the roof of my mouth or in my throat. It will not go away. It s very annoying. I ve had this before on rare occasions and I seem to remember I eventually cough up a round piece of something. My throat is slightly sore and I m coughing (don t think it s because of the lump). I ve not been feeling well the past few days. I ve tried to look at my throat with a flashlight and can t see anything unusual. I ve tried to put my finger down my throat to try and dislodge it, but can t find the lump or whatever it is. Do you know what is wrong and how I can get rid of it?
The symptoms what you have described can be there in chronic pharyngitis also. Kindly do warm saline gargles very frequently to decongest the throat. Also, drink lots of hot water again to decongest the throat. You could take paracetamol tablets as and when required. If symptoms are not getting better in 5 to 7 days. Please consult an ENT surgeon who will do proper examination to diagnose your condition and treat it accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
