What Is The Medication For 4 Month Old With Green Loose Stools?

hi my 4 month baby is suffering from loose motion in green colour which is liuid type he is going pooh after every feed he is taking formula milk i m giving him adjust medicine bt not to control the motion kindly help me how i will control his motion

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Passing motion after every motion is normal in 4 month old baby due to brisk gastrocolic reflux.
Formula fed babies may pass green motion sometimes.
Infection also causes loose motions.
Antibiotic is not necessary as it is caused by rota virus which is self limited.
You may give Sporolac sachet orally once daily.
