What Is The Medication Suggested For Getting Regular Periods?

hai.. Doctor iam durga... every month i got my period on the 28 days of cycle.. but from last month i got my period two days lately and this month this is 4th day of late...i dont know what to do but iam not pregnant please tell me what tablet i may take..iam so confused help me..!!

Hello dear,
I understand your concern.
There are various causes for irregular periods like thyroid abnormalities,polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD),stress,overweight obesity,anemia etc.
The normal duration of menstrual cycle a varies between 21-35 days.So,2 or 4 days delay might not be a problem.If you are confident that there is no chance of pregnancy then wait for spontaneous onset of periods for a week-10 days.If the cycle is more than 35 days continuously for 2-3 months then the above said causes should be ruled out.Avoid stress if any.Adapt healthy lifestyle and exercise daily.
