What Is The Milky Film On The Inside Corner Of My Eyeball?

I woke up this morning and had crustize on the inner and outer corners of my eyes. Looking in an 8X magnify mirror I noticed a milky film on the inside corner of my eyeball. I could only see it if my eyes teared. It seemed to float in the tear fluid and does not stay if pulling the lid or bottom lid away. Any ideas on this?

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having milky discharge from the eyes. This indicates mucoid discharge from the eye. This is usually seen in infection of the eyes in conjunctivitis.
The treatment of the condition is by use of appropriate antibiotic eye drops.
Hence I advice you to consult your eye doctor for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
