Hi. Welcome to HCM forum. Please do mention your age next time. A stress test can be used to test for heart disease. Stress tests are tests performed by a doctor and/or trained technician to determine the amount of stress that your heart can manage before developing either an abnormal rhythm or evidence of ischemia (not enough blood flow to the heart muscle). The most commonly performed stress test is the exercise stress test (TMT). The ischemic ST-segment response is generally defined as flat depression of the ST segment of more than 1 mm below the baseline and lasting longer than 0.08 s. This type of depression is designated "square wave" or "plateau" and is flat or downsloping. Upsloping or junctional ST-segment changes are not considered characteristic of ischemia and do not constitute a positive test. Your result shows 1MM ST depression which is not so danger and u did not had any angina (chest pain) during the procedure which is good. They may advice an angiogram to assess the extent of blockage in arteries. Your doctor will advice what to do after assessing your health condition. This is not very danger as u have thought and trust your treating doctor. All the best. Regards
