What Is The Normal Count Of Follicles On A 0.5 Cm X 10 Cm Size Scalp?
Hello, I am thinking for hair transplant by FUT method, I visited couple of doctors all had same view of taking a strip of 0.5cm - 10 cm, whereas all had different view of no of Folicures; one say 2000, one say 3000 one had view of 5000 accordingly the transplant cost differs; I want to know in normal range how many foliculars available in that area for FUT.

It depends on the individual who has a good density of hair can be harvested up to 4000 follicles. Moreover, follicles is a single hair. Sometimes one follicular unit has 3 to 4 follicles.
That's why the difference in saying by different people.
