What Is The Normal Range Of Bilirubin?

i am 18 years old and today when i check the result it was found to be respectively>sgpt:-70 U/L. >total bilirubin:-0.5mg/dLdirect bilirubin:-0.2mg/dL<and my brother was having hepatitis,from this result is am also suffering from hepatitis kindly give me a solution

Hi,

Bilirubin is a reddish yellow pigment made during the normal breakdown of red blood cells. Normal levels vary slightly from lab to lab; they range from about 0.2 – 1.2 mg/dL. The reference range of direct bilirubin is 0.1-0.4 mg/dL.Signs and symptoms of high bilirubin levels in adults very with the underlying cause.

However, symptoms usually include jaundice and itching. High bilirubin levels in adults usually means that there may be an underlying problem involving the red blood cells, liver, or gallbladder; however, other problems also may be found.
