I woke up yesterday morning the area around my left collarbone was very sore and tender. This morning when I woke up it was still sore and I felt a small lump about the size of a pea that moves all around right near /on the binge. I am very scared it is something bad. I called my dr this am but he won't be in until tomorrow.
Hi. This is either a lipoma or a sebaceous cyst. You can try antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicines as advised by your Doctor. Wait and watch. FNAC sometimes helps for a diagnosis. If it does not resolve it is better to get this removed (excised) for 2 reasons. 1> your get rid of the disease and 2> you get the histopathological diagnosis- makes you tension-free that it is not a cancer.
