Frankly speaking, there is no permanent cure for
allergy .
If once you contract allergy , there is bound to develop allergy , so avoidance help great.
2nd answer , yes to some extent allergy is a hereditary disease.
These measures may help you.
Wash all bed covers in hot cycle every week.
Treat carpets w/acarcides or
tannic acid.
Clean upholstered furniture thoroughly or replace w /leather furniture.
Keep dust-accumulating objects in dust cupboard.
Replace curtains /blinds & easily washable curtains.
Use vacuum cleaner
Encase mattress , pillows & quilt in impermeable covers
Keep pets out of house & living bed rooms
Install air conditioner or dehumidifier
When such patient visit I prescribe only
montelukast +bambuterol tablet once or twice in day depending on severity of symptoms .
I don't prescribe
defcort like drugs because these drugs are
steroid and long term uses produces untoward side effects.
