I understand that you are very concerned about your daughters problems. Now, eating disorders, like
Bulimia have a significant impact on physical health. If untreated, there can be several physical health complications. Some of the common ones are
dehydration,
kidney problems, liver problems, heart problems, digestive problems, tooth decay,
gum disease, menstrual irregularities, etc.
Since you have mentioned that she is extremely
underweight and is not taking adequate fluids also, she is at risk of dehydration, salt imbalances, and sometimes, even kidney problems. If she is not co-operative for out patient therapy, you can consider a period of hospitalization.
