What Is The Pop Like Feeling In The Back Of My Head?

When sleeping, I have experienced this twice in the past few weeks. I am awakened by what I think is a feeling in the back of my head, like a tap or pop. I feel like a see a light or a light flash that wakes me up too. Feel fine during the day, but this has happened several times and its an odd sensation.

It may be nothing; especially if not accompanied by a headache, nausea, vomiting, blurred vision, etc. Or it could be a dreamlike aura that seems real.
