What Is The Post-operative Care Recommended For An E.coli Patient?

My sister is in the hospital with a diagnosis of e.coli. This was determined by using a blood culture test. She had a high fever of 103.8, general fatigue and weakness but no diarrhea or vomiting. How concerned should we be about her returning to her house when she is released?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, I had gone through the history given here and I could say that the differential diagnosis is matter of concern persistence high grade fever could be indicative of enteric fever and it is the matter of concern, beside this it could be parasitic fever, it is all depends upon the underlying cause of fever and the treatment given hope this information helps.
I find this answer helpful
