Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The Neurologist eventually will evaluate the possibility of neurological conditions such as spinal cord stenosis, spondylolysthesis, etc. this may cause difficulties with walking.
Besides neurological examination, tests such as imaging studies of the lumbar spine (x-rays and MRI), should be carried out in order to get a correct diagnosis.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
