What Is The Prognosis For Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer With Internal Bleeding?
A woman I know has stage four ovarian cancer. She has been through 4 months of chemo. 5 days ago she had a stent put in because of fluid build up. Today, they discovered internal bleeding and are insisting she remain in the hospital and have surgery removing her ovaries and uterus in two days. What does this mean in terms of her prognosis?

Hello dear. I have gone through the details. She is having an advanced form of the disease and will require chemotherapy and surgery both as a part of treatment. Prognosis is not so good but with this treatment she is expected to survive atleast 2 to 3 years. may be more. Hope it is clear now. Take care
