What Is The Prognosis For Thick Endometrium Bilateral Polycystic Ovaries?
Hi...I am 27 years old and still a virgin...for 6 months I have been suffering from non stop bleeding...I went to the doctor and ask me to have a transrectal ultrasound and my result was normal size retroverted uterus with thick endometrium bilateral polycycstic ovaries ...my endometrium is 1.13 cm thick and the abnormalities noted where both ovaries are line by multiple immature follicles along the periphery...can you help me please on what is the meaning of this...I am really worried...thank you...
Normal endometrium thickness is 8-11mm. Multiple follicles may be seen in polycystic ovarian syndrome or normal individual who use drugs. PCOD may be the cause for the irregular menstrual bleeding.
So you have to consult your gynecologist, she will examine and treat you accordingly.
