What Is The Prognosis Of A Patient With 80 And 99% Blockage On The Carotid?
my 83 yr old mother had a stoke in october was in rest homefor five months has been home for rour months and was picked up by rescue squad yesterday to week to stand ,she had 80 % blockage on one side and 99% blockage on the other carotid what is her prognosis?

I am sorry to say this but percentage blockage you have mention, as per that the prognosis is very bad.
I advice you to get MRI and doppler scanning of the carotids, which will help in further assessing and treating.
It is also advisable that seek help from nearest emergency care center at super specialty hospital.
