What Is The Prognosis Of This Biopsy Test Result While On Esomeprazole?

I have been diagnosed with the following findings after an upper endoscopy with biopsy/dilation. I am a 76 year old woman.- Tortuous esophagus-Z-line irregular, 35 cm from the incisors-Small hiatus hernia-Erythematous mucosa in the antrum. Biopsied.-A single gastric polyp. Biopsied.-Normal examined duodenum NOTE: Biopsies were normal .I am taking 40 mg of Esomeprasole twice a day and a Sulcralfate slurry before each meal and at bedtime. What can I say my diagnosis or diagnoses is/are? Thank you

I really appreciate your concern, the given finding could be suggestive of inflammatory condition of esophagus and it may not be the major illness that you should be worry about this, the important thing is you have not mentioned the clinical symptoms are here just to know something about the diagnosis the finding could be suggestive of inflammatory disease of Gi system underlying cause of this would be matter of concern hope this information helps.
