What Is The Purpose Of Fertigen Injection?
Madam, I am 28 yrs old and 56 Kg. I was suffering from overian cyte before 8/9 month. my last mc date was 22 Oct. I missed next mc on 22 nov & I got spotting on 24 nov. I tested pregency on 08 Dec and the result was very faint. Doc prescribed me Walegest 200 twice in a day for 05 days. I tested again on 14 Dec the result was positive. Now Doc prescribed me fertigen 5000 only one injection and to undergo ultra sound on 23 Dec. Can u please tell me the purpose of the fertigen injection.

Hi, I have gone through your question. Fertigyn injection is hCG hormone which supports the pregnancy. It is given in patients with threatened abortion or with a history of spotting in early pregnancy.
You have such history and that is the reason for giving you this injection. It is given weekly up to 14-15 weeks of pregnancy.
