What Is The Reason For Continuous Yellowish Discharge In A 14 Yr Old Whose Menstruation Has Not Yet Started And Is Not Sexually Active?
Hi, I'm 14 yrs old and for about a year now, I've had a clear/yellowish vaginal discharge every day for no reason. I can't feel it when it's coming out but when I stand up or move around it feels like my vagina is sweating. It comes out liquid but drys into a stiff white on my panties. I take a shower everyday and clean myself appropriately but it never goes away. I haven't had my period yet and am not sexually active.
Hi, Thanks for the query. Pelvic infection is uncommon in virgin girls. Some general conditions can lead to vaginal discharge like: -Constipation -Worm infestation -Skin to skin contact, using common rest rooms -Nutritional deficiency -Rarely blood born infection So, you try to follow measures like: -Taking bath twice a day, changing inner wear twice a day -Use cotton inner wear as per as possible -Avoid harsh soaps, detergents etc If symptoms persist after doing all these things, consult gynecologist once and get examined. Take care.
