What Is The Reason For Frequent Nightfall, Puss In Semen?
I am male of age 22.I am unmarried and rarely I used to masturbate. But recently I used to get frequent night fall. After semen analysis it was found that there is puss in the semen. So I was given some medicines and was asked to Masturbate alternate days for 1 month. Now my question is how and why this puss is formed.Note: I have done masturbation but not sex. Will really this puss a big problem?
Hi, Welcome to HCM If you are not having any sex or no masturbation then night fall is common. It is the excess and unused, got out of the body as the body reserve is already filled. Nothing to worry about that. Pus cells in the Semen (not a frank pus), indicates an infection in the reproductive tract. Even poor consummation of water and an retention of urine for a longer time may lead to urinary infection and as reflux reproductive tract also sometimes likely to get infected. Nothing to worry much. It is better to have a culture and sensitivity test in semen and to be treated according to the outcome of the results. You will be alright. Presence of infection of reproductive tract may interfere with the fertility. But once treated no problem. Get well soon. Dr S.Murugan
