General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that as she is having this problem since long requires evaluation of her case.
There might be having possibility of some problem in her vocal cord like swelling or polyp on her vocal cord.
Indirect laryngoscopy will give exact nature of her problem.
Consult ENT surgeon and get examined.
Ok and take care.
