What Is The Reason For Pain In Neck And Jaw Due To Infection?
I want to know, my husband had cancer of the tongue, he has had clemo, radiation, and was terrible sick in the hospital for seven weeks, and now he has a terrible infection in the mouth and throat. He got alot of mucus and he has got infection that they are calling it yeast infection, but all the yeast infection medicine, it is the same. and he can hardly stand up, and has terrible pain in the side of his neck and jaw, What would this be.

Your husband suffered from CA tongue & was on anti cancer medication which decreases immunity and hence fungal infection occurs plenty of times . Fungal infection at this stage can be managed with anti Fungal drug which your doctor is giving .
So dont worry n let give time for drug to act .
Rest other symptoms which you said happens with anti cancer drug n resolves later after completing of cycles.
