What Is The Reason For Wrist Pain Of A Person Working As Bartender?

hi... my name is chelsea... before I make an appointment with a doctor i wanted to ask what could possibly be the problem if my wrist hurts... I am a bartender and server so it may just be excessive use... i looked it up and the pain is in the trapezium and scaphold areas of wrist

Hi Chelsea,
You are correct in saying it may be related to your current work as a bartender which is likely to be placing recurrent strain on the wrist. So some modification to your work routine could well be needed to manage this problem.
As to precise cause, further assessment by your doctor will be needed including possible imaging of the joint between the scaphoid and trapezoid bones.
