What Is The Recovery Time For Arteriogram MRI Through Femoral Artery In Leg?

I m having and arteriogram mri of my left hip tomorrow. Is that done thru the femoral artery in the leg? If so, what is the recovery time? Will I be able to return to the gym the following day? Not or cardio or lower body work but for upper body lifting.

hello
after a femoral artery puncture you need to keep the lower limb immobilized for at least 6-8 hours as there is a risk of bleeding from puncture site.
-you should avoid gym and rufous activity for 3-4 days as there is a very small risk of late bleeding
-after that you can resume your normal activities
