What Is The Remedy For A Bleeding Nose With Fibrosis?
My dad was diagnosed with pulmanary fibrosis 3 years ago. He used to be on 2 POC s bridged together, recieving 20lpm...Hospice has since stepped in and changed him to 4 liquid containers bridged...they tried to put the humidifiers on and that was a no-go...said flow was too high and too much pressure. As if the fibrosis and steady decline werent enough, now b/c of no humidifier he is really suffering from a bleeding nose/throat...it is heartbreaking. Is there any device that fits a flow like his?

It is very distressing to get bleeding nose like this. You can however try this:
-tell him to not blow or rub his nose
-try an antihistamine like levocetrizine in consultation with your doctor
-you can also try a local drop like xylometazoline in consultation with your doctor
