I ve been having burning and itching thought it was the soap so I used dove unscented but before I used the dove my clitoris be itching so I kept scratching and it started to bleed and swell then I used the dove soap burning & itching stopped, but now my clitoris is still swelled what could it be?
I understand the issue. The swelling may be due to the trauma caused by scratching. Please do not repeatedly clean it now. Use mild soap [ the one that does not irritate ] and luke warm water to clean it twice a day and pat it dry immediately. If the irritation persists triple ointment containing combination of antifungal, bacterial and steroids are very effective in providing fast relief. Other measures are cold compresses to ease the pain and soreness. Hope this helped. Thanks for using HCM. Have a good day. Dr Nilajkumar Bagde Consultant Obstetrics and Gynecology
