What Is The Remedy For Blackhead On The Back?

I have a raised area on my back that I believe is an impacted blackhead. My mother used to get them. They are the kind you have to stretch the skin and push in to pop, but it's on an area I can't really reach on my back. Can an general MD do this for me or do I have to go to dermotologist?
