What Is The Remedy For Fluid Build Up In My Ears With Shooting Pains?
I have alot of fluid build up in my ears and have shooting pains in my head, and also can taste blood in the back of my throat, i also sometimes get light headed and dizzy like i am going to pass out from all the pressure i am feeling in my head. I also have thick white mucus. This is been going on for about 3-4 months and all the nurse practetioners that i have seen tell me nothing is wrong, what could this be?
Hi. First of all you need an examination by an ENT Specialist to get the correct diagnosis. From your history I can suggest you some help. Rest is mandatory to get a good recovery Nasal decongestant nasal drops- 3 to 4 drops in each nostril in a lying down position... followed by steam inhalations of plain water. 3 weeks of antibiotic course with supportive medicines like decongetant tablets, multivitamins, anti-inflammatory tablets. If needed a low dose - short course of steroid. All this will lead to a complete recovery. Id not a complete recovery - CT scan of sinuses and other tests to confirm what is wrong and may need surgery.
