What Is The Remedy For Getting Frequent Period With The Pain In My Left Ovary?
For about the last 4 months I've been getting my period every other month (ive always been irregular), besides being late its been normal. But in January i got my period in the beginning of the month, late again but normal otherwise. Then two weeks later and my periods back. This time though its lighter and thick almost black blood. A couple of days before i started to bleed for the second time i had pain in my left ovary like pressure but now no cramps. I didnt feel like i was getting my period at all. Should i be concerned?
Hello This type of irregular bleeding with pain in the left ovary region may be due to . 1 Poly Cystic Ovarian Disease ( pcod ) , diagnosis can be confirmed by ultrasound of left ovary. 2 Hormonal imbalance may be the another reason , diagnosis can be confirmed by estimation of estrogen , androgen , FSH/LH ratio. 3 Salpingitis may be the another reason as you are also complaining that there is pain in left ovary region. Yes , irregular bleeding and pain is cause of concern , so consult a gynecologist and get his opinion. Good luck.
