Neurologist 's  Response
I read your query and I understand your concern.

I think you are taking too much Zolmitriptan. You should know that too much pain medication could cause what is called medication overuse headache, where the medication itself is keeping the pain and it should be interrupted.
Regarding migraine, there are two types of treatment, treatment of the individual acute attack with drugs like over the counter painkillers or like zolmitriptan. When the attacks are frequent though prophylactic treatment is necessary to reduce the frequency and severity of the attacks. There are several options like amytriptiline, propranolol, valproic acid, topiramate, flunnarizine and several others. They are all prescription drugs, so considering also your headache is a complicated case of migraine, I think you should be followed be a neurologist, ideally a headache specialist, to choose the most appropriate one and for periodic check-ups.

I hope to have been of help.
