I have muscle weakness in hands, upper and lower limbs, recurring slurred speech and ptosis. Currently, I am undergoing physical therapy due to difficulty in walking and going up and down stairs. I have been admitted into the hospital 3x over the last 10 years with the normal workup for stroke-like symptoms(MRI, CT scan). Results come back negative. Each time, the symptoms go away except for the general weakness and fatigue with recurring slurred speech at times. My hand and thumb grip is under 5 lbs and barely shows up on the instruments at times when being evaluated. My O.T. has currently stopped due to lack of improvement over the last 3 months. I have muscle twitches and spasms in legs and arms as well. My calves have been solid as a rock since the end of September. When I go to sit down, the muscles in my calves, thighs, and around the knees tighten up as well. The Friday before Christmas, I fell asleep and woke to double vision which lasted ten minutes and has since gone away.
