What Is The Remedy For Pus Cells In Urine When On Antibiotics?

My 1 and a half year daughter was detected with pus cells in the urine and was put on a course of antibiotics. after this course of 10 days, she was alright but again within a gap of 10 days, the pus cells have again been detected and the count is between 8 - 9. My doctor has suggested an ultrasound of the bladder and the urinary track. Kindly advise as to why this is needed and what should we do next. I shall be really obliged

your daughter is still having a urine infection after the course of antibiotics,
i would agree with your doctor to do a urine culture to see what is causing the infection and which antibiotic is sensitive to remove the infection.
the ultrasound will help to rule out any masses or free fluid accumulation.
you need to also look into her water intake and personal hygiene.
would suggest go ahead and get the tests done and later can be prescribed the medication
