What Is The Remedy For The Burnt Throat Causing Difficulty In Eating And Drinking?

Hi, yesterday I ate something that was too warm and burnt my throat/stomach. It took me too long to get water to cool it off so it kept me awake during the night and today it still hurts. Having a really difficult time eating something and drinking anything that isn t cold. Any recommendations? Thank you in advance! /Marie

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood the history of eating and swallowing something hot and unable to get water in time. It has kept you awake during the night and it still hurts. You have hard time in eating something and drinking anything that is not cold.
This is scalds of the upper pharyngeal and esophageal area.
I would advise you the swallowing:
Upper GI Endoscopy to ascertain the extent of damage.
PPI like Omeprazole.
Antacids liquid 3 tsf every three hours.
See the results and act accordingly.
Do not worry as this will heal nicely
