What Is The Remedy For The Chillness In Feet And Hands Having Severe Cerebral Palsy?
I am 30 years of age and have severe cerebral palsy and am in a wheelchair. I suffer from very cold feet and legs which I am trying to find a solution for. I have tried HeatHolder socks under moccasin boots but my feet still feel icy. Do you have any other suggestions? I had surgery on my feet when I was 16 which didnt work but actually made my feet worse.
I understand your concern, as it is a difficult clinical condition.
But, unfortunately there is not too much to be done. I would recommend performing a lot of physiotherapy, in order to help increase the blood flow in your leg muscles. I would also recommend starting gabapentine or pregabaline. These drugs can help in these clinical conditions. You should discuss with your doctor on the above treatment options.
Hope you will find this answer helpful! Wishing all the best, Dr. Aida
