What Is The Remedy For The Congestion, Irritable Nose And Redness Around Eyes?
my daughter has been diagnosed with pollen allergies since she was 3...she is 6 now....we ve been on different medications, but the longest she took something was l-montus kids, for a yr.....she gets congested, irritable nose and redness around eyes from the pollen...rt now its winter in georgia, USA....pollen levels are minimal...but I still have to give her the medicine or her eyes get red and swollen....any suggestions?...want to minimise medicine usage
Your daughter seems to have quite a severe form of pollen allergy ,normally called hay fever ---it appears that there is quite a lot of discomfort --inspite of monteleukast medication inaddition to symptomatic decongestants ---at this point the main idea is to take her away from the allergen --pollen --sometimes when this irritating agent can be given in small doses may desensitise . The plan of management includes --keeping away from pollen ,decongestatnts ,creams ,she may need steroids short courses to help her during acute discomfort or pain.the good news is her airways seem to be free and no cough
