What Is The Remedy For The Infection In The Right Ankle And Having Low Blood Sugar?
Hi doc,I am a diabetic woman 32,and have had an infection in my right ankle and have been on antibiotics for about three days now.The problem is my blood sugar dropped low and I went crazy on the sugar trying to get it back up.But I am worried sick now because I know the sugar level should be under control to allow healing.Swelling and pain are still there and I feel very worried,can u advice me.My Rx is a total of six days
Dear madam i can understand your concern. let me make it clear to you,in case of diabetes we will advise patients to keep there sugar under control for quick healing of wound. i guess you are not diabetic so this will not be applicable for you. usually some antibiotics will cause low sugar,nothing to feel bad it will settle in no time regards Dr vamsi krishna Consultant Diabetologist
