What Is The Remedy For The Severe Itching Of The Body?
My husband has suffered for 2-3years with horendous itch all over his skin . He has had various treatments from dermatology consultant at hospital who can find nothing wrong with his skin. He also sees haematology consultant at hospital as he has low platelets and possible lymphoma of the spleen although appears to be dormant they have tried every treatment they can think of including infusions of retuxamab but nothing helps .no one knows what to try next. Any suggestion s please .

The kind of itching that your husband has seems to be related to the lymphoma of spleen that he has.
This type of itching is basically an itching due to systemic causes.
In such cases, the itching tends to persist as long as the cause of itching persists.
For symptomatic relief in such cases, regular intake of oral antihistamines has to be done . Topically agents like calamine lotion can be helpful.
The main focus however has to be treatment of the lymphoma .
