What Is The Remedy For The Swelling Of The Throat With The Pain In The Roof Of My Soft Palate When I Eat?

I'm not sick, don't have a fever, or any other symptoms. Yet, every time I eat food, my throat swells up a little bit, and the inside of my throat, and the roof of my soft palate hurts extremely bad. I'm not eating spicy food and it doesn't matter what I eat, it persists. It has been going on for about one month. Any ideas on what may be going on would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, thank you for posting at Health Care Magic.

The oral disease main cause are:
- Fungal infection, like oral candidiasis is by far the most common fungal infection that occurs in the mouth.
- Dentures and tongue piercing(if you have).

The greater possibility is that you are infected by Oral Candidiasis.
To treat this disease you should use Nystatin Oral suspension 100.000 U/ml.
You should take Nystatin 4ml(400.000 units ) four times daily, one-half of dose in each side of mouth.

Contact a stomatologist.
