Sir there is no fix age limit for going to gym...
Exercise is good for health so you can start at any age...
Yes there are some exercise that can not be done at certain age n diseases...
But I think you are asking for body building means musculine body...so you can go to gym for work out n do exercise under your gym proffessional supervision...
Advantage:-
There are lot of advantage n I think all you are well known...in medical advantage it is good for your health future health n keep disease away from your body...
Non medical advantages for that you wanna go like to impress girls...
Disadvantages:
If you are not doing exercise properly according to your gym proffessional than you might be hurt yourself n need hospitalisation sometime also...
