What Is The Right Dosage Of Doc Q Lace For Difficulty In Bowel Movements?
A month ago my husband had a mild stoke and has received excellent treatment (and therapies) at UMPD/Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. He is now at home receiving in-home therapies OT, PT and Speech. He has gone two-three days without a bowel movement. I intent to give him a DocQlace 100 mg (which was given him in the hospital) but there are no directions on the bottle. I am assuming he should have one tablet. OK? GT
Dear, Thanks for contacting HCM I hope you husband is doing great and is recovering. Doc-Q-Lace is used for treatment of constipation. It works by increasing the amount of water the stool absorbs in the gut, making the stool softer and easier to pass. Please, take 2 tab (100 mg each) Doc-Q-Lace at bedtime with a full glass (240 milliliters) of water or juice. I must warn you that Cramps and abdominal pain may occur but it is rare. Hope this has Helped Regards
