What Is The Right Way To Use The Medicine Tamulosin?

My husband has a PEG; he has PD. All medications are dissolved in water and given via the PEG. Tamulosin does not dissolve (I opened the capsule & poured it in the water). The tiny beads will flow thru the PEG as long as the tube is kept clear and open when pouring the water with tamulosin in. Will the Tamulosin be effective this way? is there a better way of doing this?

Hello,

Tamsulosin comes as a capsule to take by mouth. It is usually taken once a day. Take tamsulosin 30 minutes after the same meal each day. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor to explain any part you do not understand.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
