What is the risk of getting STI ? many thanks
Thank you for query. There are no possibilities of any std being transmitted by this route described by you.usually no other skin diseases also can be transmitted except those which can be transmitted by skin to skin contact like herpes, scabies etc.But these are possible only if the person had active infection otherwise no possibility.Thank you .Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and Venereologist
Hi, Welcome to HCM. The risk of STD/HIV through massage over back, legs and neck is almost nil. Nothing to worry. HIV and STD organism can not live outside genital tract or away from body fluids. When there is no exchange of body fluids there is no risk for HIV/STD. Dr S.Murugan
