What Is The Role Of Duoluton-l In Endometriosis?

Hi Last month I undergone laproscopic surgery to remove endometriosis & two chocolates cyst in RT-ovary. After that from day 5 my doctor advised me to take Duoluton-l tablet for 2 cycles. But i want to pregnant. And my periods are regular. Please tell me the role of Duoluton-l in endometriosis? Thanks &Regards, Karthiga.

duoluton- i contains levonorgestrol and ethynlestradiol and is used for the treatment of the endometriosis it is a hormonal tablet. it is advised for only two cycles and it will be discontinued after that so you will get pregnant later
hormone tablets will stop ovaries from producing hormones and ovulation. this will produce slow growth of the endometrial lesions that is the reason it is prescribed to you
