Usually after giving the tablets for ovulation induction the ovulation can be tracked by the follicular study. Follicular study means on alternative days or sometimes daily doing ultrasound examination to know the development of a dominant ovarian follicle number and their growth.
This will be usually started in between 10th to 12th day of the menstrual cycle and can be continued either on an alternative day or daily depends on the growth of the dominant follicle.
Once the dominant follicle reaches around 2 cm size beta HCG injection(Fertigyn 5000) is given to to trigger the ovulation.
After giving the injection in 24 to 36 hours ovulation can occur. You have to plan unprotected intercourse around that time, which will increase the possibility of pregnancy.
