What Is The Severe Pain After A Week Of Achilles Tendon Removal?
I have had my veins on the Achilles removed a week ago and had almost no pain till the sixth day, now I find myself in a lot of pain and are not able to walk with the pain, I don t understand why after almost a week I have so much pain, should it not be getting better?
It can be a infection so I would suggest you to meet your surgeon and get wound dressing done. If there is some fluid collection or any redness of the margin then it can be cause of such pain and it will need antibiotics and daily dressing. If there is no such thing and wound margins are healthy then nothing to be worried about. Just wait for some days and this pain will improve.
